Who we are
Hustler Hunting offers guided hunting in Eastern Oregon with a focus on private land cow elk hunts near Baker City and limited upland bird opportunities. Our hunts are built around small groups, ethical harvest and personalized time in the field.
The operation emphasizes practical, high quality hunting experiences on mixed timber, agricultural ground and proven upland terrain. Guests can expect professional guiding, realistic expectations, proper meat care and a straightforward approach to planning limited availability hunts.
Fully licensed, bonded and permitted in the State of Oregon. We operate in compliance with Oregon outfitter regulations.
Who you will hunt with
Jon owns and runs Hustler Hunting out of Baker City. He is the one who answers the phone, sets the schedule and is generally the one standing next to you when it happens.

What we stand on
The bird hunts are wild chukar and quail on real country. No preserve, no planted birds, no guaranteed numbers. The dog work is the point.
Two or four hunters at a time on the elk hunts. Enough to keep it fun, few enough that the property and the elk do not get hammered.
If the conditions are wrong or your dates will not work, you will hear it before you put money down, not after.
